How to Practice Self Care:

  1. Go on a Walk
    • go on a walk around your neighborhood. Smell the fresh air, hear the children playing outside, let your mind loose. Giving your brain a time to relax is important for self care. Listen to some music while walking, or RUN!! Walking or running also physically improves your body. ☺

    • face masks are scientifically proven to lead to an increase in mood and more positive mental health. Go put on a face mask while you take a bath or while reading a book. Face masks are cooling to the skin and keeps us refreshed and glowing. ☺
  3. Bake with Your Friends
    • Make some banana bread or corn muffin. Search up some recipes on allrecipes.com with your friends and have fun! You can also eat all those delicious things you made at the end! It’s a win-win. ☺
  4. Meditate
    • One of the more commonly things many people do for self care is to meditate! Turn on a fun meditation exercise from Youtube and let go of all the stress that is built up inside of you. Meditation helps improve your self awareness and reduce stress! ☺
